Food is such an embraceable luxury, it ties so many things together, family, fond memories, feelings of nostalgia, wonderful sensations of satisfaction and gratification when we consume things we love…Food can be a great way to help educate your children, provide family time with a meal, teach ourselves and the next generation to care for the earth and our bodies with what we consume and how me produce it. There are many things to enjoy about cuisine, from preparing and experimenting to serving and enjoying yourself. The greatest thing about food is that you can cook to suit your tastes and it can be something that becomes your signature. The only thing you would be missing is maybe a new favorite food!
I remember trying “viande des Grisons” for the first time in culinary school (it’s a dried beef from Switzerland) and thinking “I am sad I have missed out on this for so long! I wish I had tried it sooner!” Don’t be afraid to try new things and expand your horizons.
Talk about what you love about food and why it’s so awesome…how chopping vegetables and making a meal is healing and enjoyable and seeing people enjoy what you create is the most satisfying thing ever!!!!
